Documentation: Constraints


In older version of MARUI, Constraints were used to attach the virtual viewpoint to a Maya Object or camera.
This is no longer recommended.
Please use the Look-Through-Selected function for this.

Constraints are a way to attach Maya objects to VR devices (controllers or headsets) and vice versa.

You can choose to either make the Maya object follow the VR device, or attach the VR device to some Maya object.

Select the respective Maya object, choose the type and direction of constraint you want to use and click “Set Constraint with selected object”.

Only one constraint can be active at any time.

To break the previous constraint, click the “Break constraint” button.
